The Legislative Districts of Surigao del Norte, namely the first and second districts are the representations of the Province of Surigao del Norte in the Philippine House of Representatives. Misamis Oriental was a part of Surigao Province, until it was granted it own representation in 1961. It was part of the representation of Region X from 1978 to 1984. In 1986, it was divided into two legislative districts. Dinagat Islands was part of its representation until 2007 but reverted to its mother province when on February 11, 2010 the Supreme Court of the Philippines declared the creation of Dinagat Islands province null and void due to the insufficient land area and population as stipulated by the Local Government Code for the creation of provinces. == 1st District ==
